  Bulgaria is short for the Republic of Bulgaria, is in the southeastern part of the southern European Balkans. Bulgaria is the birthplace of dairy products in the world, Bulgarian dairy made from sheep's milk is well known in the world. It also has a good name of "country of roses" and "country of fruit". China 2010 Shanghai World Expo Bulgaria Pavilion is located in European Union Pavilion 2, inside the pavilion there are Armenia Pavilion, Albania Pavilion, Azerbaijan Pavilion, Bulgaria Pavilion, the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia Pavilion, Georgia Pavilion, Montenegro Pavilion and Moldova Pavilion.

 

    The exhibition hall is designed in a very modern sense, showing an "ancient and modern" Bulgaria by connecting the past civilization with the modern urban development. The museum is divided into three parts: two ancient streets and a fine square, which highlights the transformation of urban space in different cultural times. The exhibition hall presents the history, culture, religion, customs and way of life of Bulgaria through ancient buildings, archaeological discoveries, traditional articles, photographs and films, which makes it a journey of exploration of the culture and history of Bulgaria.
    The theme of the Bulgaria Pavilion is "inheriting and sharing the urban heritage". The design of the pavilion is very modern; you can see the ancient buildings, archaeological discoveries, traditional costumes, etc. They all present the history and culture of Bulgaria from different aspects, every visitor will experience a journey of exploration of the culture and history of Bulgaria. The beautiful exhibits of the Bulgarian Pavilion are all treasures, the most precious of which are the gold Tibetan treasures of Tracy and mosaics from Roman times. One of the treasures of the pavilion is called “king terres's mask”, it’s 23K gold and weighs 694 grams with an extremely lifelike fine people face on the surface. The other is a replica of a famous Bulgarian residential museum in one corner of the square. The frescoes and carved wooden ceilings on the walls are exquisite, the yoke, arched windows, wide eaves and enclosed balconies have unique and vivid architectural features.
    With the understanding of the history, culture and scenery of Bulgaria, Space Idea not only reproduces the customs and practices of Bulgaria, but also reflects the following two highlights.

Ancient craftsmanship display
    The ancient street area showcases the golden treasures of the Thracians and the Mosaic techniques of the Roman empire. Archaeological tools placed under glass floors create a sense of original excavation.

Reappearance of the museum

    One corner of the square area is modeled on a famous museum in Bulgaria. The walls are decorated with exquisite frescoes and carved wooden ceilings. The yoke, arched Windows, wide eaves and enclosed balconies have unique architectural features.
